MasterSeal 501 is a two-component, flexible cementitious waterproofing membrane used for below-grade and above-grade waterproofing applications. It forms a continuous, seamless, and crack-bridging waterproof barrier on concrete, masonry, and brick substrates. Excellent adhesion, flexibility at -20°C, and resistance to hydrostatic pressure make it ideal for water tanks, swimming pools, basements, tunnels, and wet areas. Approved for use in potable water structures. Available in 25 kg kits.

Application Method

Technical specifications are pending addition.

1. Prepare the substrate: clean, free from dust, oil, grease, and laitance. Dampen the surface but avoid standing water.
2. Mix Component A (liquid) with Component B (powder) using a slow-speed drill mixer for 3–5 minutes until smooth and uniform.
3. Apply first coat using a brush or trowel to achieve 0.7–0.9 kg/sq.m. Ensure all pinholes and voids are filled.
4. Allow to cure for 4–6 hours, then apply second coat in the perpendicular direction.
5. Protect from rain, sun, and mechanical damage for 24 hours.
6. Backfill, tile, or apply finishing coat after minimum 3 days curing.
