Tap a coin lightly against the floor tiles in a commercial lobby. If you hear a high-pitched "clack," the tile is well bonded. If you hear a deep, hollow sound, the adhesive bond has failed underneath.

The Traditional Fix

Historically, fixing a hollow tile required smashing it, scraping out the old hard cement, and relaying a new tile—often resulting in mismatched grout and spare tiles being unavailable.

The Injection Resin Solution

Sichern Engineering offers a far superior, non-destructive method. By drilling tiny millimeter-wide holes in the adjacent grout lines, we inject ultra-low viscosity epoxy resins underneath the hollow tile.

The liquid epoxy flows into the empty voids and cures incredibly hard, instantly restoring a solid, permanent bond to the substrate without lifting a single tile.
